So, during transit or storage, if the environment is more on the warmer side, then your body butter may, slightly, lose its smooth texture.

Now, for the fun part – fixing that gritty situation. Grab your butters and head to the kitchen!
What You'll Need:
Your gritty body butter (of course)
Microwave or hot water
A freezer
Step 1:
Ensure the jar lid is tightly secured and place the jar into the microwave for 30 seconds or until completed melted.
If using hot water as an option; Grab a glass dish, place the body butter jar in the center of the glass dish and gently pour the hot water around the jar, just enough to warm the jar through and melt the contents inside.
Step 2:
Once melted, pop it into the freezer, and let it chill for around 20-30 minutes. During this time, you can check out some of our latest posts on Instagram and Tiktok!
Step 3:
After 20-30 minutes, take out your body butter and you should see a smoother, grit-free texture. For best results, allow your body butter to return to room temperature.
